// about
One city. One week.
The whole ecosystem.
The Student Robotics Week is an annual city-wide robotics summit, hosted in a different European city each year. In 2026, it lands in Munich as Europe Embodied.
Why now
Physical AI is having its moment. Foundation models are leaving the screen and taking on the messy, expensive, fascinating world of atoms — and Europe has the labs, the talent, and the industrial base to lead.
But the people who'll actually build this future — researchers, founders, engineers, operators — rarely sit in the same room. We're changing that.
How it works
Companies, labs, and student clubs across Munich host individual events, demos, and workshops throughout the week. Marketing and transportation are centrally organised so attendees move easily between venues with high visibility for hosts.
The first four days are track-based and screened for relevance. The closing Ecosystem Summit on Friday is open to everyone.

Who should attend?+
Students from across Europe interested in robotics and physical AI — from undergrads to PhD candidates — plus early-career engineers, founders, and operators in the field. The first four days are screened for relevance; the Ecosystem Summit on day 5 is open to all.
Where in Munich is it happening?+
Events are hosted at company offices, university labs, and partner venues across Munich during the first four days. The Ecosystem Summit is held at a single central venue. Transportation between venues is centrally organised.
Is there a cost to attend?+
Pre-registration is free. Final ticketing details for the track days vs. the open Ecosystem Summit will be shared with everyone on the pre-registration list as soon as they're confirmed.
I'm not a student. Can I still join?+
Yes — the Ecosystem Summit on Friday is open to anyone interested in the European robotics ecosystem: founders, engineers, investors, journalists, operators, and the curious.
I'm a company that wants to host an event or sponsor.+
Reach out to contact@robotum.info — we have lead, event, and Summit sponsorship slots available.
